Greg Noll Surfboard Restoration
I was given this Greg Noll belly board by my father in law. It was a gift for my new son and having been recently acquainted at the time with Greg Martz I decided to show Greg and see what he could do with it. My Father in law bought the board in Hermosa Beach back in the early 60′s I believe. It had a good amount of use but had since been sitting in a hot dusty garage in riverside dying a slow death.
The Watermans Guild did a fantastic job with it and as you can see from the pictures it looks amazing. It is currently residing on my son Finleys wall. He is 17 months old, not long before I get him on a surf board. But i know the day will come when i look upon the wall to find an empty space probably because Finley has waxed up this little beauty and taken it for a surf. Continue reading »
Kona Red Visits Watermans Guild
A couple of the boys from Kona Red dropped by the Watermans Guild to fire off a couple of ideas with Greg and his team. Seems Kona Red is a big deal and boasts some pretty impressive stats to back it up.
Taken from their website:
“Kona Red ™ is a powerful Hawaiian Superfruit! It’s the fruit of the coffee plant that surrounds, protects and nourishes the coffee bean (seed). Kona Red ™ has an extraordinary level of nutrients and antioxidants that get absorbed at the cellular level and are known to help prevent disease, delay aging and provide a long-lasting mood boost.”
Sion Milosky (R.I.P.) was a big fan too, check out this video of Sion
